from the loop

So, it's 6:26 and I'm still at the office. It's been a long Monday, mainly because my manager is leaving for a week to do the Cour de'Alene Ironman (swimming and biking miles and miles and then doing a full marathon!) and I really needed to get cranking on my stuff. As such, I've blessed this entries with some photos of the loop.

In case I haven't mentioned it, I really love it here. The people are great, down to earth and very positive yet realistic about the possibilities. It's no surprise that Apple's enjoyed so much success over recent years - I think it's all Karmetic.

I broke down a couple of weeks ago and purchased my first "nesting" element for my office, a plant that I picked up at Rite Aid for $5 with a $1 pot (which is quite nice) that was on sale. Can't complain, I sit by a window anyways and although I don't have the kind of acoustical separation that I dreamed of at least I have a good amount of space. And I get to meet lots of people who walk by, calling me Margie or Marge or the like. It's like a healthy suburban neighborhood without the lawns.

I really miss music; making music and being around music and have thought longingly of Boulder many times in recent days. Hopefully I'll be able to find some sort of niche out here...
