Creativity suppressed

Wow. wow wow. I've just been reading my friend Srini's blog, and the latest entries are fantastic. Apparently, when my brilliant pals are not wrapped up in MBA classes or their internships, they have extraordinary ability to be creative. Long live the spunkiness, I say!

Here are a couple of tidbits from Srini's blog (you can check it out yourself in my sidebar) that I love. Right now he's in India, and soon he'll be in Singapore. Ever want to learn about how it feels to be a yuppie Indian guy? Read the latest entry. The bit below is a little older and I just like it. Oh yeah, and I'm in P-hat:

"On the subject of brands, I have been advertising my friend's band (P-Hat and the Job Shop formerly known as P-hat and Heteroskedasticity) all over the world. I wore the band t-shirt to the Law School Graduation Party at Oz on Saturday, 6 May - where many graduating law school JDs (Juris Doctors) saw me on the dance floor. Trust me, you cannot miss me on the dance floor. And I mean that in a good way.

I then wore the same t-shirt on my flight across the world. So the P-Hat logo has now received eyeball exposure (trust an MBA student to use a fancy term like that) in midwest USA, Chicago, Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangalore. Even my folks asked me what the logo was about. And then I had to tell them about the band and give a short primer on statistics. Maybe I should lobby to be the publicist for the P-Hat band. And I also need a fresh p-hat t-shirt. Cos this one stinks."

we MBAs, we think we're soooo cool...we even fantasize about ourselves....at work...
